The reason I haven't been keeping up with my usual breakneck speed of one post per year is that in 2010 my < 1 year old daughter started having seizures. In 2011 we got the diagnosis of Dravet syndrome. Since then all of my free time has been spent researching this horrible disease, hence the lack of super informative posts.

While my daughter has Dravet syndrome I doubt I'll have time to post anything useful (yes, my posts are useful!). So the answer is simple really, just donate everything you can to http://www.dravetfoundation.org/ and they'll ensure Dravet syndrome gets cured soon. Once it gets cured I'll go back to my frequent annual postings, everyone wins.
